Daenerys: My Idol

I'm so into Game of Thrones right now, that I don't know what I will do when this season ends (probably start reading the books).  I want to talk about my fictional character idol--Daenerys Targaryen.

I want to be her.

This girl is one of the most bad ass, amazing girls in fictional literature (there are many others, but she totally rocks).  She's strong, confident, gentle, fierce, and seriously exotic looking--she's eaten a horse heart, freed thousands of slaves, and even walked into a fire and given birth to dragons!  Who does that?!

In addition to having some amazing female characters, Game of Thrones has also pushed almost every unspoken boundary in television.  The series is chock full of full frontal nudity, prostitutes, "consensual" rape (no such thing), tons of rape, violent and gory murder, incest, sodomy, necrophilia. One thing they haven't shown though, is a good spanking scene, and I can't think of a better candidate for one than Daenerys.

She wouldn't be forced into it, though.  She wouldn't be thrown over someone's lap for an attitude adjustment.  No, she would command someone to spank her.  She would invite one of her many suitors to her personal chambers and give him an order to take her over his lap and spank her.  And she would like it.

Perhaps I'll write a letter to George R.R. Martin.

  1. Really need to watch Game of Thrones, but it is on a channel we don't subscribe too :)

    1. We specifically subscribed to HBO so we could watch GoT! I thought we were ridiculous until my sister and her bf told me they did the same thing, haha. We'll unsubscribe after the season is over!

  2. I never watched long enough to understand what's going on, so I have no real clue, but it sounds as if I would sit there with my hands in front of my eyes most of the time. But I'd love to see her giving birth to dragons and also the spanking. :-)

    1. It is extremely gory. My mom tried watching it with us, and didn't make it 5 minutes into the episode before leaving the room!

  3. Love Game of Throne and Daenerys. My husband read the books, so I have to make sure he doesn't spoil anything for me. We also just get HBO for Game of thrones LOL...thought we were the only ones, but I think it's pretty common, they usually run specials right before the new season starts!

    1. My husband just bought the box set of books for us to read, but I REALLY don't want to spoil the TV series, because I love it. Maybe I'll read the books as I follow the TV show. At any rate, HBO is bound to have a lot of unsubscribers in a few weeks!

  4. I don't watch the show....but I don't know. Part of the thing about being spanked is that I have no control over it. I mean yes I can ask for it, but those spankings are far less rewarding to me....LOL

Of course having a kick ass best friend like that would be cool!

    1. Oh, I agree. If someone forcibly spanked her, though, one of her dragons would probably burn the person to a crisp, so it might prove difficult for her to give up control...

  5. She is my idol too! I love her. She is so strong and fierce yet kind and gentle. She rocks! I am back, btw, and I can't figure out how to follow you!

    1. Hi Brooke! I don't know how to follow people either. Right now, I don't follow anyone--I visit the blogs on my blog roll. I suppose I could figure it out if I googled it, but this way works for me!

  6. Daenerys is so hot!
Love the idea of Daenerys being spanked, but still think it would be hotter if she was forcibly given one.

    1. Perhaps. No one tells Khaleesi what to do, though.

  7. There was a little bit of spanking here--two prostitutes entertaining Joffrey, if you remember. It was a very light spanking--definitely for fun--but Joffrey quickly got bored with it.

I picked up the books within the last month. My plan is to read only as far as the TV show has gone, and then bookmark the page. I'll wait for Season 4 to come out on DVD (or wait for one of those special "Watchathon" weeks where they make the season available for free) and then read up to that point. Like you, I don't want to read ahead and know what's coming--I'd rather wait for the TV episodes.
